Workforce Conversation Guides
The QIC-WA is pleased to release a series of four Do-it-Yourself products created to help child welfare agencies facilitate a needs assessment of their workforce. The tools, known as Workforce Conversation Guides, were created by a team of child welfare, workforce, and implementation experts based on their experience conducting needs assessments in the field. We are thrilled to bring these to you. They will help you identify key challenges that you can address to strengthen your workforce.
Why and how should we use this?
First, each self-assessment focuses on a specific workforce area and can guide your agency to use your own data to make a strategic investment in your workforce. Second, each Guide is designed to be used by a team of people. The team should include leaders, case carrying staff, and HR. Third, time should be carved out for this team to meet and work through the questions in each Workforce Conversation Guide. Finally, we are seeking your feedback on the usefulness of these products. Please provide your contact information when you access each Guide. We may contact you in the future to learn about how you have used the Guide(s) you access.
